Overview
Medical Management Strategies, or MMS as most of our clients refer to us, is a cutting edge healthcare billing, practice management consulting, data management and technology company located in San Luis Obispo, California. We specialize in working with physician practices of all sizes as well as other healthcare providers.
Company History
Medical Management Strategies was founded in 1996 by a small group of independent physicians and experienced healthcare executives located on the Central Coast of California. Since then, MMS has grown to become the largest medical billing service in the area and now provides all lines of service (billing, practice management consulting, data management and technology services) both locally and nationally. Our unique approach to providing services has helped us grow. MMS endeavors to ensure that healthcare providers retain a large measure of autonomy and control over practice management and operations. Our focus has always been to work closely with healthcare providers, establishing a framework by which they can work together to address common interests and benefit from the efficiencies gained by being associated with a larger organization. Through MMS, healthcare providers are able to access management structure and depth as well as state-of-the-art technology to supplement the management staff in their practice.
